George joined Thiel in 2005 after spending 30 years at Watlow Electric as Executive Vice President of Manufacturing.  I have a BSIE, and MBA, both from St. Louis University.

Philip Draper – Manufacturing Manager
Phil started with Thiel in 1994 as a project engineer and maintenance supervisor.  He then moved to the position of Quality Manager where he spear headed the achievement of ISO-9000:2000 certification.  In 2005, he was promoted to Manufacturing Manager where he oversees the operation of all facets of the business including the implementation of Lean Manufacturing.  He has EE Degree from the University of Missouri - Rolla

Ed Koehler - Material Manager
Ed brings a solid background in general supply chain management, with an expertise in metals.  He holds a degree in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.

Travis Koehler - Quality Manager
As a teenager, Travis’s interest in Engineering came when he worked as a mechanic at a local dairy farm. After obtaining a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Travis came to Thiel Tool in March of 2004 as Quality Engineer.  One year later, Travis became our Quality Manager.  Travis has a passion for circle track racing and has been a competitive racer since the age of eight.

Pat Skaggs - Controller & Secretary
Pat has been on our staff for 8 years. He started as the assistant controller and became our controller within a year.  Before joining our team, Pat worked as an auditor for the Missouri Department of Labor. He holds a Business degree from Southeast Missouri State University and is a CPA.

Tom Naeger – Engineer Manager
After two years at Ranken Technical Institute, Tom started at Thiel in 1964, and served an apprenticeship for four years as a tool maker.  In 1978, he was promoted to tool designer, trouble shooter, estimator, and supervisor of the tool room.  In 1986, he was promoted to plant manager until 1991 when he assumed responsibilities as the Engineering Manager.

Steve Meszaros – Tool Designer
Steve joined Thiel in 1990 after 2 years of vocational training.  He has been responsible for the design of progressive dies for the automotive industry.  Steve is currently continuing his education, at University Missouri – St. Louis. He is obtaining his industrial Engineering Degree.

Dave Becker – Programmer
Dave has been with Thiel for 22 years, programming our EDM modeling machine and CNC milling machine.  Dave is extremely experienced with 2 and 3 dimensional solids modeling.

Dave Wigglesworth – Tool Room Lead Man
Dave graduated from North County Technical Institute as a Tool Maker.  He started at Thiel in 1993.  In 2003 he became our Lead tool man

Gary Shamel , Sales and Marketing Manager
Gary joined Thiel in 2006 with over 30 years of sales and manufacturing experience in the automotive, military and construction industries.  His background includes sales, customer service, and new product development, as well as materials and operations management.  Gary is a graduate of Central Michigan University with an MA in Business Management.

Pat Viviano – Customer Service
Pat started with Thiel in 1984 as a part time employee.  After two years she became a full time receptionist, and the administrative assistant to the General Manager.  In 1990, she moved to Customer Service – Inside Sales.  Pat has found this a very challenging and rewarding position

Rose Turner – Human Resources
Rose came to Thiel 14 years ago.  She started as a press operator and progressed through shipping, accounting, to her present position she assumes a double responsibility of handling our Account Payable and Human Resources activities.

Doreen came to Thiel over a year ago as an Administrative  Assistant responsible for a variety of duties including accounting, purchasing support, data entry and reception.
